WeGO (World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization) is an international consultative body established in 2010 under the leadership of Seoul to promote sustainable development through smart city cooperation and exchanges between cities and companies around the world.

- Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) spearheaded e-government exchanges among cities to facilitate sustainable development

- Since its establishment, the number of members has increased 4 times (50 → 202) and six regional offices have been established
- Expanding and diversifying WeGO from an e-government city council to a smart city council including members of companies and institutions
- Elevating Seoul's status to a leading city in smart cities beyond e-government
- Promoting our city's best smart city policies and applying them overseas
